Dial Pad


Learn how to use the Dial Pad.

The dialpad is an easy-to-use pop-up widget that allows you to make calls manually or “hot dialing” recently called numbers.

The dialpad icon can be found in the right-hand cluster of icons situated in the horizontal navigation bar.

The dial pad widget provides the ability to “hot dial” from a list of recently dialed numbers. In addition, you can copy and paste a number into the text box in the middle of the screen. Alternatively, you can dial “manually” by clicking on numbers with the dial pad with your mouse.

At the bottom of the widget, you need to select the outbound campaign you want to “log” your call.

NOTE: The syntax for dialing a number is: + [country code] [area code] [number] without spaces. So a U.S. information call would look like this: +18005551212.

Making Calls from Dial Pad Widget

To make a call based on a recently dialed number, click on a recently dialed call at the top of the widget and it will turn blue. Then click on the handset icon to make the call.

Alternatively, in the middle of the screen, you can copy and paste a phone number in the text box then click on the handset icon to make the call.

You can also “manually dial” by clicking on the numbers in the dial pad. The text box above the dial pad will fill with your number, then click on the handset icon to make the call.

Making Calls from a Contact’s Record

Another way of making an outbound call with Thrio is to call directly from a contact record in the mini-CRM. As with the dial pad widget, you will see a small handset icon adjacent to the customer’s telephone number. Click on that handset icon and the call will be made so long as you are set up in the proper outbound campaign to make outbound calls. Alternately, if the contact has a mobile number listed, you can send a text message.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
