Load Objects

Overview

Load Objects can be used to upload data from a CSV file into the system.

Uploading data

Navigate to the Load Object menu option

  • To create a new Load Object ‘+’ sign to the right of the Search field and the system will present an empty template to fill in.

Name Enter the name of the Load Object
Description Enter the description of the Load Object
Type Select what the system should do upon uploading the data from the dropdown list

  • Delete All Before: This option will first remove all entries that currently exist prior to uploading the new data.
  • Insert Only: This option will insert all the new records without affecting any duplicate records that already exist.
  • Insert or Update: This option will update any records that are found and insert all new records.

Field Mapping Select the field mapping to use from the dropdown list
Upload File Select the CSV file that contains the data to be uploaded

When creating a Load Object, you will need to click the Save button on the top right hand side of the screen.

The results of the uploaded data will display under the section Upload Results.

The information that will be displays is as follows:
Filename Name of the file that contained the data that is being uploaded
Transaction Id An ID assigned to this transaction
Create At The Date and Time the upload started
Total in File The total number contained in this file
Total Inserted The total number of records that were successfully inserted from this file
Total Exists The total number if records that already existed in this table and therefore were not uploaded
Total Failed The total number of records that failed to upload

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
