User Settings Changes


There have been several changes made to the User Settings in Thrio. This article will go over them.

Order of Tabs

The order of the tabs is now:

  • General
  • Telephony
  • ACD
  • Notification
  • Disposition
  • Dial Pad
  • Directory
  • Sound
  • Supervisor


No changes were made.


  • The phone type is now a dropdown menu instead of selecting in a pop-up window.
  • The Number field is only visible when the Phone Type is PTSN.
  • If the phone type is SIP, the Username and Password fields are no longer there.
  • the Work OffHook toggle is now under the Use Endpoint Toggle.

  • The Notification tab is now a combination of the Workitem and Notification tab.
  • The Notification tab is made up of 3 seperate sections: Voice Workitems, Digital Workitems and Digital Messages.
  • You can set a sound notification, enable web notifications for each section.
  • There is also an option to Always Show notifications.

Dial Pad

  • A new tab that used to be in the Directory tab.
  • Allows you to leave the dial pad on the screen after dialing or leaving it there.
New changes.


  • Now made up of 5 seperate sections: Pop-up behavior, High Priority Messages, Agent Messages, Queue messages and Topic Messages.
  • Pop-up behavior allows you to control if and when the dial pad disappears from the user interface after dialing.
  • For the Messages sections you can select sound notifications.
  • For Agent Messages and Topic Messages you can choose to enable notifications.
  • For Queue Messages, you can chhose which queues you want message notifications for.

  • The Voice and Sound tabs are now combined.
  • The Input Device field is now the Microphone field.
  • The Output field is now the Speakers/headset field.
  • The Ring Notification field is now the Ringtone field.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
