Workflow Action: Add Lead Component

Overview

The Add Lead component is used to add a new lead into an existing Predictive/Progressive/QB/SMS/Email list through the workflow.

Configuration Options

Name The name assigned to this component
Description Enter a description for the component
List Select which list to add the lead into from the dropdown.
Lead Specify the field in the table as well as the value that should be placed into the field.
Condition Type If the condition returns true, then the Action will be performed. If condition returns false, then the Action will not be performed. If there is no condition specified, the Action will always be performed.

A sample of a condition could be:

If you would like the system add a record into a list that that will be called back if the caller pressed ‘1’ in a menu, the Condition Type would be as follow:

Expression: workitem.digits == ‘1’

  • workitem.digits would be entered in the first field
  • ‘==’ would be selected from the dropdown
  • ‘1’ would be entered in the last field
  • Select the List that to insert this record into from the dropdown.

Click the + sign next to Lead for each field you want to be inserted in the new record.
In this example you will need to click the + sign 3 times as there are 3 fields to be entered.

  • Set the Label to firstName and the Value to John
  • Set the Label to lastName and the Value to Doe
  • Set the Label to phone and the Value to +18585551234

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
